I made it Monday!!!

Hey, finally got a monday challenge card up!!

The theme is food/drink....well, don't you just love coffee???

I had help with this from: nichol for lawn fawn, you can find it on youtube, the video would not save on here for some reason or I would share with you..ugh...computers...or maybe I just need more coffee...hahahaha


I chose a different color combo then hers, I love love love this card!!

Wednesday again?? Well, that went fast!

Wednesday challenge: Anything goes!
I made this Dog themed card...I used Hampton Art/Mama Elephant Puppy Play Set.
I love this set because you get the clear stamps and dies all for 12.99 at Simon Says Stamp shop.

This was a fun card to make and I colored the pups with my alcohol markers, just make a window frame and stick your pups in the windows! Easy Peasy!

Missed Monday but here is Wednesday!

I missed mondays challenge due to being out of town all weekend...But I am back on for Wednesday!
Wow, this is the perfect challenge as I just made this card for my sister...it has the galaxy background I learned by watching this video:  Galaxy Background from The Craft Bunny, she was really easy to follow! Thank you!!

I had the cosmic stars set from Mama Elephant and colored them with my alcohol markers and Wow, what a cosmic card.....

Distress This! Oh Boy!!!

I am so happy for today's challenge! It is distress time!
I just bought all of the little distress ink pads from ranger and started playing with them....
I was never a messy crafter, I like things clean and simple but I always loved the look of the distress backgrounds and altered stuff people made, but I just hated getting my hands dirty....

But after watching all the youtube videos of stampers inking their backgrounds and not getting all messy, I thought, hey, let me give this a try!

I used the Hero Arts Octopus stamp and went to town making a shaker card, I did get my hands a little inky but I am so happy I gave this a try! I then went on to make a gift for my sister, doing the mixed media stuff....Hey this is kinda fun!!

Not too shabby for a distress beginner!

Summer Sunshine!

I love summer and sunshine...so this is a great challenge for me, I do not know the name of the stamp as I removed many of my stamps from wood and never got around to writing the names down, sorry about that, I am sure you can find it out with a search on the internet for sun stamps, I think it was stampin up for some reason??

Anyway, the sun is colored with pearl ex and fine glitter was applied for sparkle and shimmer, then it was just a matter of layering and embellishing, hope you like it!

Monday: Red White Blue
